Canada Revenue Agency announced on March 28, 2024 that bare trusts do not have to file T3 returns for 2023.

CRA Trust reporting rules
CRA’s new reporting rules apply to affected trusts with December 31, 2023 year ends. More trusts now have to file a T3 return, including the new Schedule 15.
